Burtons



Current project for Burtons brief - if any of you are familiar with Burtons, you will know it is essentially, crap. There's no definition of market, the brand is in conflict with itself - are they a gentlemen's store with customised suits? Or young & trendy with their LCD screens & jukeboxes? For the rebranding, the route was led by Mr Burton himself with a back to the roots approach - he originally made good suits affordable for the working class. The coat of arms style motif comes from the fact Burtons went on to make suits for those coming back from the army.
It's cool, it's bold & it knows good clothes when it sees them.
