First real go at After Effects - I'd messed around with this program in college, but nothing along the lines of a 2 minute video.
The brief: To create an animation depicting Chaos & Order.
The idea: That every day life perhaps is a little boring with too much order. The subject has a monotonous daily routine - one we could all relate to. The god 'Chaos' (excuse the poor drawing - if you'd seen my sketchbook/research, you'd understand that that is actually the symbol for chaos, I'd just given it eyes) sees this order & emits chaos into the subject's life...
The downfall: There's too many ideas in this film. The giving of the order card suggests that something is chaotic in the subject's life & so confuses the animation slightly. Also, the end idea that we are all master of our own chaos/order in our lives & life without a little bit of chaos would be boring is slightly lost - perhaps another bash at this is in order?
